Creation and introduction of biologic technological test-systems into operation would provide for marker-oriented selection of cattle aimed at cattle sanitation in respect of leicosis and improvement of milk productivity. It should be emphasized that DNA-diagnostics are designated for cattle testing irrespective of its age and gender and can be used for selection work on sanitation of cattle herds in respect of leicosis, for formation of commodity milk cattle herds with improved quality of milk suitable for production of high quality types of cheese and for milk's fatness control. It is our opinion that testing of animals by parameters mentioned above is of particular importance at purchases of imported stock cattle, selection of sire bulls in stock-breeding farms, selection of animals for raising in stock-breeding and commodity producing farms, rejection of young animals.
