Аннотация


In the nearest future pig, due to its anatomy which is very similar to the human anatomy, will occupy the place of indispensable donor of organs for transplantation to humans. Mini-pigs with required parameters are bred specifically for Academician Meshalkin Institute of blood circulation's pathologies. These pigs provide the sterile biological material for transplantation including the whole range of xenobioprostheses: heart valves, vessels, heart monoflaps, pericarditis to close various heat and vessels' defects. Laboratory mini-pigs of the Siberian selection will play an important role in solution of so complicated and important present day problems as development of the biological model.
