Аннотация

It has been ascertained that a considerable quantity of calcium (13% of the dry weight in average) is present in the leaves and stalk mass of Amaranthus cruentus L. Content of calcium in the foliation part of Amaranthus cruentus L. depends on a phase of the plant development and reaches its maximum value (27%) at the phase ofbiossoming, with the subsequent decrease of content to 4.5% at the complete maturing of seeds in the period of traditional seeds and the green mass harvesting. Data that demonstrate a considerable potential of Amaranthus cruentus L. as antacid remedy to be used in case of abnormally raised acidity of gastric juice, ulcers of stomach and duodenum that are accompanied with manifest acidosis have been collected. Proceeding from these data Moscow enterprise "Diod" has manufactured a test lot of pills made of Amaranthus cruentus L. The pills are to be used as biologically active additive for replenishment and normalization of calcium exchange. Analysis of the pills has demonstrated that content of total calcium in them is no less than 20% while content of soluble calcium is 10%. The pills are recommended for clinical tests.
